The APEX Kennel Door is a state of the art combination of both interior and exterior kennel door solutions offering unrivaled and superior security and insulation, It can be made to fit up to 16 inch thick walls with The option of single or dual flaps! The cable operated guillotine style kennel door is the most secure option on the market and features a one inch thick insulated metal clad design. The APEX Kennel Door can be built to fit any custom opening in almost any application. When ordered with a tunnel the APEX will feature a standard 10" Trim-To-Fit tunnel for the perfect installation every time. This solid tunnel design Offers the best durability on the market. We recommend using silicone to adhere the Frame to the wall. This will allow you to easily remove the Frame for replacement falps or parts every few years. Adhesive can make this removal process very difficult.
Standard or Custom Sizing: The APEX Kennel door is available in what we have found to be the most common three requested sizes for facilities all over the world. However we do offer custom sizes just as often for facilities with existing openings that do not match the three sizes we recommend or if the facility has a need for a custom size.
Single or Dual Flaps: When ordering an APEX Kennel Door it is crucial that you understand the purpose and performance differences between a "Single Flap" or a "Dual Flap Option. A Single Flap model will provide an excellent air tight seal and will keep out all wind, rain and debris. The Dual Flap model will provide the same superior seal and defend against the elements as well (x2), but will also provide superior insulation value and an unrivaled weather temperature barrier to protect the controlled climate within your facility.
Tunnel Options: The APEX is available with or without a tunnel option. The tunnel is the connection between the interior and exterior frame, covering any unwanted visibility within your rough opening through the wall or application. Some facilities have already "finished" or frame the rough opening an do not need a tunnel where as most newer facilities prefer our aluminum trim-to-fit tunnel for a seamless look and operation.

Security Boss Manufacturing, LLC., recommends that households with small children need to exercise proper judgment with leaving their children unattended in any area with a pet door. Pet Doors come with locking panels and locking devices, using these devices minimizes any risk, but does not replace proper parental supervision.
We recommend that any consumer that installs their own pet door wear eye protection and be familiar with the construction procedures and tools of installing a pet door.
Virtually all doors use magnets for the activation of the pet door as well as in the sealing of the flaps. Customers with certain medical devices, for example; Pace Maker patients, should consult their physician.
