Composite HDPE & Aluminum Insulated Guillotine Door


The Kennel Clad Insulated Guillotine Door has been a flagship product for Security Boss for many years, due to the quality insulation and seal this guillotine door provides without the high price tag. The KC Insulated Guillotine Panel features an embedded base rubber bulb seal that molds to the kennel floor (eliminating drafts), while the weather stripping along the top back side of the panel eliminates the possibliity of drafts between the panel and kennel wall. This Insualted Guillotine Door does not lock into place. Customers who purchase a non-locking guillotine door, but do require some level of security, would need to install an after market locking device, or review the Kennel Clad Dual Auto Locking Premium Insulated Guillotine Door.

Temperature controlled kennel facilities (both heated and cooled) require a guillotine door that will match the great insulation to avoid energy loss, leading to an increase in your energy bill! The guillotine panel is composite, featuring a 1/2" thick HDPE core that is clad with heavy duty 18 gauge sheets of aluminum. These HDPE and aluminum layers are held in place with a custom aluminum "C" channel around all four sides. If your kennel facility contains valuable items (high tech/expensive equipment, show dogs, expensive products, etc) we would recommend the only insulated lockable kennel door on the market, the Kennel Clad Dual Auto Locking Guillotine Door.  

This weatherproof guillotine door includes a set of durable aluminum side rails that are avialable in both 48" and 69" lengths. The pulley system kit includes 15' of PVC coated stainless steel aircraft cable, two screw in hook pulley assemblies, six tapcon screws with mollies, for installation through wood, block or concrete walls, and an "S" hook for operating the pulley system.

The complete Security Boss line of guillotine doors are considered easy to install. There are only 3 steps!
Step 1. Mount the Side Rails (ensure the rails are parallel to one another, and completely flush against the wall)
Step 2. Install the Hook-Pulley Assemblies (one directly above the guillotine panel and one in line on the ceiling)
Step 3. Attach Cable to Guillotine Panel, Run Cable Through Hook-Pulleys, and Attach the "S" Hook
